Business card sized marketing CDs for Holiday Inn - Chicago City Center. Produced at a fraction of a print catalog, this interactive CD-ROM included photos of meeting rooms and explained the benefits of holding events at this prestigious downtown hotel. The CD was inserted into the pocket of a folder which included quotes and letters from hotel sales personnel.

Instructions for new parents? That’s exactly what Governors State University delivers to new foster parents with this educational series. Working with footage that shows parent/child situations, WMC programmed Foster Pride Digital Curriculum DVDs with an interactive questionnaire to help new foster parents learn effective skills for managing foster children.

The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police needed to distribute information on resources for critical situations to police departments, officers and their families. WMC organized a wealth of content, wrote copy, designed the presentation and programmed this interactive Critical Support Services CD. The CD allows users to access PDFs as well as up-to-date info via embedded web links. WMC also managed duplication and distribution to Illinois departments.

The Fishin' Fun CD was sold with fishing kits in retail stores. It teaches fishing to young and old alike, through interactive games and lessons. The CD helped introduce a whole new generation to fishing during a time when fishing equipment became more affordable and available. Once again, WMC successfully repurposed the digital assets to create a kiosk version which was developed for visitors to the company’s tradeshow booth.

AHA! Interactive specializes in interactive education and needed a fun CD for the Dairy Council of California (DDC). This engaging solution uses games and a team-oriented approach to teach elementary school students about good nutrition. The activities at Camp Eatawella help kids make better food and activity choices, which culminate in an exciting canoe race. Additional programming invites teams to post their scores to DCC's Nutrition Pathfinders web site.

We faithfully executed Williams Labadie's brand by integrating Flash content into Director. Audio/animation synching adds sparkle to the CD's wisecracking guide.

This series of business card CDs was produced by RMS for the Precast Concrete Institute, an industry trade organization. The Idea Generator Series promotes the many uses of precast, prestressed concrete to architects and planners, exploring precast's uses in housing, bridges, commercial buildings, and more. As WMC programmed these graphic-intensive presentations, they were optimized to fit onto 50MB business card CDs.

Re-purposing and repackaging existing materials for greater impact is an extremely cost-effective approach to creating sales tools. Madson Marketing’s client, Voith Paper, wanted to distribute a collection of marketing materials. Using Macromedia Director, WMC programmed an interface that launches each document individually in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Director interface organizes the information and provides a unified identity, as well as an opportunity to add multimedia effects.

This educational video DVD targeted medical personnel to promote safety and awareness in the medical community. Working with top film directors and producers, this video DVD contains lots of graphics and video clips to communicate important and sensitive issues. The DVD contained video, questions for discussion, and a pdf for download.

Computer based training with video and Access database tracking. WMC teamed with a top videographer and training expert to produce this safety training course. In a world where internet access is assumed, these employees worked many miles from any urban area. WMC designed a local area network based trained system which leveraged the large scale high definition video which had been shot so carefully by the client. Safety learning became as much fun as watching TV.

WMC used existing Sedgwick video to create this promotional DVD and leveraged the benefits of technology so users can easily navigate between sections without the inconvenience of cueing and rewinding, For Sedgwick, the DVD provided a seamless sales demonstration.

Contempo Design, which specializes in exhibits for museums and tradeshows, needed a kiosk for the Professional Football Hall of Fame Museum in Canton, Ohio. WMC created this touchscreen kiosk that presents quiz questions, along with the correct answers, to advance the player's football on the field. The game is displayed on an overhead plasma screen and integrated classic video footage scores even more points for excitement. |

The Chicago Public Library’s Special Collections & Preservation Division wanted this kiosk to showcase the legacy of Chicago's first African-American mayor, the namesake of the Chicago Harold Washington Library Center. With materials from the Harold Washington Archives and Collections, this kiosk brings the historic career to contemporary patrons of the Harold Washington Library. WMC integrated QuickTime digital video and audio, produced by vintage sources with text and images from those days. The kiosk is programmed for touchscreen functionality. |

Steve Cartwright is an independent producer of video and multimedia training for the mining industry. This project uses interactivity that goes well beyond the usual features of CBT. In addition to several styles of question-and-answer testing, program simulates impossible situations to practice in real life, such as making manual adjustments to the pressure valve controls of a copper smelting system during a power outage.

The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) needed simple graphics to enhance their instructional tools. WMC served up six Flash animations, converted them into HD video, which clarified the message. These video clips were used in a training video that the NRAEF was producing.

In tandem with the internal marketing department at Nike Securities, WMC developed the NVision Editor, a modular, customizable presentation builder. Nike sales reps use the NVision Editor to create a multitude of stand-alone presentations, which are stored in a database and retrieved through desktop shortcuts. Following this template, Nike continues to make additional modules available to their reps and is confident in the modules' up-to-date, SEC compliant/NASD-approved content and uniform design. |
